Back to Blogger

Five years ago (as of 8 days from now) I left Blogger to move my blog posts to the Tadukoo and Tadukooverse github sites ( tadukoo.github.io and tadukooverse.github.io respectively, see this old blog post ). Since then, I've decided that it makes more sense to use an actual blog site for a blog, but I do like the split of Tadukoo vs. Tadukooverse. It was a weird time over there with comments requiring a github account. Instead I'll move the current contents of the Tadukoo blog back here, and the Tadukooverse ones to a new blog, Echoes from the Tadukooverse . I'll update the github sites to link to the respective blogs then instead of having blog content on them. Note if you see this soon enough, I wrote this before transferring the contents to blogger, so you can see this here before the actual transfer of posts happens.

I'm Leaving Blogger (Old)

This post is old, I've since moved back to blogger (see this post ).  Once the blog posts are back, I'll be updating the links here to point to their new locations. As of today, I'm officially leaving Blogger. I'm taking all my posts with me too. I've setup two websites for my future blogging and programming projects, and all my posts from here will be available on one of those websites moving forward. The first website is my personal website, https://tadukoo.github.io - On it, I'll be posting about my personal projects as well as any random posts I feel like posting. Most of my posts from here will be moving to this site, as most of my posts were about personal projects and random posts. This website is early in development, but it will ultimately include many details about me and what I'm working on. The other website is for my new open source GitHub organization I'm started called Tadukooverse. The website is https://tadukooverse.github.io  - On it, ...

Welcome to My Blog (GitHub Blog)

Note: This post was made on tadukoo.github.io originally, when I was hosting my personal blog there after leaving Blogger in the past . But I've since returned  and so this post is outdated. I do still have the 2 github sites mentioned, but there isn't blog content on them anymore. Today I uploaded all of my old blogger posts to either the Tadukoo GitHub site or https://tadukooverse.github.io (my new open source organization's website). The posts moved to that website relate to projects that I plan to transfer to that organization soon (Tadukoo Util, Tadukoo Engine/Launcher, and Tadukoo Bible Project).  The posts I've transferred here either don't deal with programming projects at all, or they deal with personal projects I have no current plans of transferring at the moment. This site will maintain my own personal blog for me to make random posts if I want and post about personal projects, while the other website will host blog posts about tutorials and my open so...

Something Different

I've noticed that recently I've been posting a lot of "here's my updated plans" posts. So I want to do something different this time. I want to look at the history of this blog. It's weird to say that, because it seems like not too long ago I started it, but it has been eight months already. Apparently according to my first post , I actually had made this blog at some point years ago, but never really used it. I had to switch the blog ownership to my current email address so I didn't have to switch to my old one all the time to make posts here. That first post was on December 29th, and I listed the topics I'd discuss as programming, philosophy, theology, and YouTube. Looking at the history so far, it appears programming and YouTube got a lot of posts, but not so much (or really at all) philosophy and theology. Later that same evening, I made a post about how I got into making TAG , including a short explanation of the working storyline. Looking at it ...

Update on Everything

The purpose of this post is basically to say what my current status is for a bunch of plans I have and where I plan to go with those plans. This is not to be a detailed list of all the plans, just a summary of the plans. Likely posts will be made in the future detailing specific plans more. TAG With TAG, I have done the Tengdev v.0.0.7.0 update, which was to add the remaining Prologue areas that were planned for the game and setup the passages to go between them. That was completed on time on July 31st. Since then, I have simply been updating the game to newer API and Engine versions. The Player Select Menu is still planned for the end of this month, and the More Sounds/Halloween update, Certain Animations/Thanksgiving/Anniversary update, and Debug Improvements/Christmas update are still planned for their respective dates. The "Hacking" Basics update is now planned for January 31, 2017. I have plans for 14 more updates from February 28 to July 10, 2017, which I will discuss ...

Blog Status: May 10, 2016

As you can see, I've been making about one post a month. I didn't really plan that, it just sort of happened. I remember back in December and January, I thought I'd be making two posts a day every day. Of course that hasn't happened, due to college and work taking a lot of time out of me. There's a lot I could talk about on here, but I never get around to it. For me, my last day of college this semester is Thursday. So now that I'll have more time, I'd like to make a post at least every other week, but preferably every week (or more frequently). I'm afraid that making one more than once a week would lead to me thinking I have nothing more to say (regardless of how false that is). So expect a post later today (possibly in the next hour), and then one two weeks from today.

Update on Blog Status

When I first started the blog, I was doing two posts a day. I thought that I would end up doing two posts a day everyday. Unfortunately, that is not going to happen. The reason I was able to do two blogs a day in the beginning was because there was a lot of information I wanted to share at that point. I should've spaced it out to at least one post a day, so that there wouldn't have been such a gap until now. Anyway, I'd sort of like to make one post a day, but I know that won't happen. So right now I'd like to make one post a week at minimum, preferably two or three per week. We'll see what happens.

Note on Blog Posts

For now with the blog, I'm going to limit myself to two posts a day, other than blog updates like this one. I'm also going to try starting tomorrow to spread the posts out more so that it's not one post right after another. This way, the blog doesn't just explode at the beginning and die down in a few days. Right now I do have a lot to talk about, since I've never really talked about the game or anything outside of a couple friends. Also, I've been working on the game a lot recently, trying to make the API and Engine. So this should be the last post today.

A Whole New Blog!

Honestly, I don't think I've ever written a blog post before. If I have, I have no idea if I wrote one on this site or not or how long ago I first created this blog. It was long enough that I was using my old email address and had to transfer admin status. Anyway, I decided to start a blog now as a way to keep a journal of sorts for what I'm up to. For me, that's actually a wide variety of things. Due to that, I'll be using labels frequently so you can just pay attention to certain things (if you so choose). Of course I have no idea if anyone will ever read this anyway. The topics I'll include will mainly be about stuff I'm programming, my ideas on philosophy and theology, and my YouTube stuff (if I don't feel like making a video about it). Of course other topics will probably come up, but those three are what will probably be most common. Most likely that will be the order for most common as well in the beginning, but they'll likely change. Anyway,...
